    Can you mount a 50Hp outboard and a 9.9HP both on the back transom of a 17 ft boat? This would be by not adding a kicker plate

    I would think you would need the kicker plate unless the transom is wide enough to allow the 50hp to turn properly in each direction.
    Thats what i thought.the main worry was that the motor move freely from the one it is mounted next to. Thank you so much for your input. The 9.9 is a long shaft also. Thanks again
