    i live in covina, california and would like any information on how to listen to the police scanneres for my area. any links, sites, info. greatly appreciated. ty

      check out this website. DO NOT travel around with your scanners though, you can get in BIG trouble.

        On my tool bars on my computer there is an FM bar and if I go to it I can tune in all sorts of radio stations and also local scanners, You can find them online.

          You can listen on line here....select your state, then county then launch the scanner, then select your city/town from the list on the scanner. http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/
