    Why can't I open PDF Files

    Before you can open a .pdf file, you will need the proper software. This is called Adobe Acrobat Reader, and it is free. Go to http://get.adobe.com/reader to download.

    Click on the download button, and follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the software.

    Now that you have the software installed, it should automatically open any .pdf file that you double click on. If for some reason it doesn't open with Acrobat, try right clicking on the file icon, selecting "Open With" and clicking on Acrobat. This should do the trick.
