    How can I make my DVD player recognise the computer?

    The DVD drive on my computer is not able to be seen or noticed by the computer. How can I fix it and make it able to recognize discs and burn them?

      Actually it's your computer that is not recognizing your DVD player. This sounds like an incompatibility issue to me.
