      It means get you bloody butt to the doctor right away!! Chances are you have some bleeding upwards in your digestive system.. If bright red, this is not cause for alarm, however, yours is dark, maroon or black.. You need to have this checked out..

          I lost my original keys to my car a couple years ago, I never thought of looking there-- maybe I can find a few lost shoes up there too.. Thanks! :)

          That's very bad. It means you are bleeding somewhere in your
          digestive tract. The darker the blood the farther up the damage is.
          You should go to a doctor real soon.
