    Mozilla/Firefox is an internet browser program with versions for PCs and MAC. It is Linux based so it is public domain software. Just because it is free does not mean it has no value. Linux based programs are ahead of the curve generally, many programs are functionally superior to many commercial versions.
    no no no internet explore does not protect the computer from viruses. Mozilla protects the computer from viruses that's why it is better.
    I think one of it's functions is to help stop viruses.
    I have it on my system & (AS far asI know) I don't have any viruses.
