As I said before, when this question was asked, I believe we are being inundated with "fear the aliens" movies and shows this summer. An attempt to brainwash us into believing that all aliens that come to the planet are bad and plan to kill each and every one of us. What happened to the days of My Favorite Martian?

If there are other races out there in space, on other planets, I don't believe they are any different that us. Some good, some bad. To make us believe any different is just wrong.

Colleen has already stated that she believes we will soon find out about "others" that reside on planets other than ours. I'm in agreement with her on that. In fact I think we have had help from them for a long time and our government has been hiding it from us.

Hollywood's newest version of war of the worlds in show form. Sorry, haven't watched it and it's pretty doubtful I will.

I think that maybe there are highly intelligent life forms out there, and perhaps even smarter and more advanced then us. If one of those life forms lives on a planet with little natural resources left and maybe even dying, then why shouldn't they try to find a new planet to live in?
And if we are so Inferior to them there are many chances they could try and exterminate us. We humans exterminate many animal species every year, we take control over their natural environment and we even do it to each other with all the wars going on and you don't have to look very long for examples of people exterminating other people... so if we can do it to animal on our planet and even to each other, you think that aliens will care about us?

Probably not. It's more likely that in a higher state of intelligence, life forms do not let feelings and emotions cloud their judgement and do everything necessary to the survival of their species.
