When we turn our computer on, we get a pop up from McAfee saying that our computer is at risk. We then check and it then reads that the real time scanning is off. We then click the box to turn it on and it goes back to the previous screen. Could you check and advise what is going on.

I use to have mcafee and got rid of it as I had the same problems I now have NORTON I would try to scan and let it run through the whole system sorry I couldnt help more I am sure someone will answer good luck
Get rid of McAfee and get AVG free. I wouldn't use Norton either. Norton is a drain on your computers OS and just like McAfee, loads your computer down with tracking cookies. AVG free does not do this and protects just as well as Norton and McAfee. http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition-2011/3000-2239_4-10320142.html
