    why do I get cramp at night?

    I have this problem also. It might be because of poor circulation as I am T2 diabetic.
    Some say it is due to lack of potassium and eating bananas will help, but it makes no difference for me.
    I have the same problem and someone told me I might need potassium and that I'm probably not drinking enough water. Now I drink more water and eat a banana before going to bed and this has helped me a lot.
