    depends on the problem,speech therapists are a useful source of information, for non verbal people there are electronic devices available that are excellent for communication purposes,also local support groups )i.e autistic spectrum, etc. there are also a wide range of self help books on the subject,one called couragious conversations is fantastic

    If this is a physical/medical problem, ask your doctor.
    If it is a problem in a personal or social setting, there are times when communication problems are related to other personal issues, and I recommend a therapist. Worked great for me.
