      hot water boils faster, it takes time for cold water to get warm!

        I have heard that hot water freezes faster than cold water, something about the molecules but I've never tried it....

        See you have not prescribed the temperature for both hot or cold water.


        But  for boiling of water,


        the temperature required is 100 degree Celsius.
