Nitroglycerin and a stabilizing agent like diatomaceous earth. Doesn't everyone know that? ;-) Good luck on finding nitroglycerin, and don't even THINK about trying to make yourself.

Nitroglycerine is made by nitrating glycerine in a mixture of concentrated nitric and sulfuric acid mixed about 3 nitric, 9 sulfuric and 1 glycerine. Keep the reaction cool! Don't breath the orange gas bubbling off! When the reaction stops, the oily stuff on top is nitroglycerine. Separate it from acid and wash thoroughly to remove residual acid. Soak it up in fine sawdust or diatomacious earth to reduce sensitivity.
