    Yes. dark materials lose heat heat than white materials. People who lived in northern countries where it's usually very cold adapted over the years to the cold by evolution maintaining their white skin which loses heat slower than dark skin. People who lived in hot countries like in the middle east or in Africa adapted over the years to warm climates by evolution maintaining their dark skin that allows them to cool down faster.
