    how to make almond paste rise

    For bakers: My almond paste/sugar/egg filling doesn't rise inside the flaky puff pastry shell of my banket. Any suggestions?

      Almond paste doesn't have any leavening like baking powder or yeast, so it's not supposed to rise.
