Daren is right. The person changing theire mind will be chargesd with making a false report. The person needs to be held accountable for beating up his wife or girlfriend.There is no excuse. Violence only gets worse if nothing is done about it, it can result in severe injuries or worse and make someones life a living hell.

If she changes her mind because he is forcing her to or because she lied either way she will be in a lot of trouble. She'll be the one in jail, or at least facing charges. Daren1 and Pythonlover are right. I think that's the way it should be if she did lie about it.
