Yes, because there are many people who are allergic to nuts, if nuts are processed in the same place as other food items, the oils may be left behind in machinery and contaminate other foods that don't even contain nuts. Thus, people with allergies can inadvertantly eat it, have a reaction and possibly even die and then sue the company that processed the food and nuts and didn't warn anyone about it.
Toilet paper wouldn't be made in the same processing plant that food would be made. The only warning would be (ouch) for splinters!
