You can get a silent ( unlisted number) but a really high pitched whistle near the eaudi cologne (phone) is always handy, one long loud blast works wonders.

Contact your phone provider. See if they can do anything for you. They might just go ahead and block the number coming in. You will also want to let the police know in case the person(s) decide to take it further than crank calls.

I pick up the phone and don't say a word ... I just put the phone in my tee shirt drawer for twenty minutes. I have caller ID. I enjoy frustrating the callers. they need to get a new job and some of them call from prisons. (i think)

Many times if there is no one there...it's because it is a telemarketing company that uses a automated dialing system. When the phone is answered there is a 2-3 second silence while a REAL person picks up and starts their sales pitch. When I say "Hello", the other person better answer immediately or they get "the click".
