I am shocked at the number of questions that contain bad spelling and grammar. Do you think that texting so much might cause this, or is our education system really that bad?

If they would just learn how to use spell-check it would help.

Spell check wouldn't have helped. It doesn't have word recognition to select the word one would need to complete the sentence. ; )
Pure laziness. We allow the young to get away with defiling our language.
Have you ever went to school in MARYLAND, apparently not because you wouldn't had to ask such a QUESTION!!
Or maybe we're in to much of a hurry?

Or maybe people have gotten lazy and just don't care?
Certainly in Britain it only appears to be over 50's who use grammar and spelling correctly. These days in schools many children are taught that spelling doesn't matter it's content that counts. There is proof of this in grocery shops where you often see incorrect apostrophes such as 'potato's' instead of potatoes. or in librarys where I have seen signs saying 'renew your book's here'
I think it is a great shame and poor grammar can confuse the reader.
