Mediterranean diet is recommended for people who have high cholesterol and triglycerides in their blood. The Mediterranean diet is famous for its low content of saturated fat and high content of mono unsaturated fat and dietary fiber. The Olive oil has a central role in the healthy effects of the Mediterranean diet, as Mediterraneans use lots of olive oil for their salads. Olive oil is famous for its high content of antioxidants and low fatty acids that clean blood vessels from Precipitation of cholesterol. The Mediterranean diet also means eating lots of vegetables from all kinds and color which also means high content of antioxidants.

The best dietary recommendations anyone can give you is this: Eat whole grains with pulses, eat as many vegetables as you can from all the possible colors (each different color means a different strong antioxidant), make sure to add Olive oil to every salad you make. Eat Californian nuts and almonds and fruits. Drink a glass of dry red wine once in a while (you can drink even once a day if you like). Eat less from the following: Meat, Dairy, eggs, white bread, white rice, white pasta, sugar, sweets (sweet drinks also like coca cola and bottled unnatural juices).

    Good luck.
