Does Anyone Else Find This Annoying?
Do you find it annoying when you give a detailed answer to someone's question on this site and they don't even thank you, let alone give you a thumbs up? This has happened to me a number of times when I took the time to look something up for someone.
His is a legit question Ms. Sinclair. 100% right.
I can understand your frustration if someone don't return to tank you,I might be a corpus of this situation,if I did I'm sorry for not responding,I'm not sure exactly how this TU work,I always seem to run out before I can Thank them.Well anyway I can Thank You now LOL.

Happens all the time, don't give it a second thought Ms. S. I know I try to do my best, if they don't give a hoot I can't be bothered to worry about it. Life's too short.

I still get a little annoyed though, especially if I put a lot of effort into my response.The whole money game is suppose to be about appreciation but that isn’t part of the deal. No one is paid what their time is worth…there isn’t that much money in the world. Appreciation as "thank you", and “That was great” are more heart felt than punching all those TUs. I prefer comments and feedback. Your thoughts on the subject. So I put this where A TU will not give me another 1000 points. and maybe you can say nice things to Ms Sinclair too. Thank you Ms Sinclair.

Sure do. If for no other reason than to know they at least came back to see the answer I took the time to search out for them. Some questions are not that easy and they do require a bit of time to find the answer for. I'd say that out of 100 questions answered, 5 might thank me or give me a thumbs up. I just like to know for sure I was able to help them.

I'm sure they do too, if they come back to see the answers I've/we've researched for them ;) I guess I'd really like to know just now many actually come back after asking a question.

Not really. When I get emotional over some Questions, there is no stopping me and I write what I feel. After I answer a question in that manner I sometimes expect to get a TU.But everyone has been very kind for overlooking my sometimes emotional response. Thanks to all on this site

I don't research and answer either. I just answer what I think and what I know. I usually don't care about TU me on my answers, but when I put my thoughts taking a long time to write, I expect a return. ;-)...And when you do that, I want you to know, I REALLY appreciate YOU!

Only when the people are really pushy and ask the same question a few times, and you have to spend about ten minutes to find the answer. Then once you finally do (not even a thank you.) So very rarely, yes, but I really like helping people find the answers, so a thank you isn't necessary.

40K karma is not bad for the few TU's you get, lol I don't think you're making the people with little karma feel better by being so forgiving of the ingrates ;)

I am sure I forget to thank and give TU... I read half a question or answer.. then go see what my daugher is yelling about... then come finish the q or a... and let the cat out... start to write a responce ... and answer the phone... IF I dont answer or Tu it is not because I am not thankful.. But because I am scatter brained..I really do appretiate all of you AKA buddies.... REALLY!!!!!

I know that many questions are not really meant for us, they don't come back either out of embarrassment or they are just too stupid to remember they posted a question.. Everyone's questions benefits all that read it..

Okay guys, I'm still learning too. I had no idea what the Thank Author meant till now and I still don't know how to give someone a best answer. So please forgive me if I have not followed normal/proper procedures to show my appreciation.

I don't know about the limit of thumb ups (thumbs up) I just give them wildly for no purpose other than someone tickled my fancy feet. (or saved my life)

I usually respond IF i can find my question. I have my problems but I do have fun and appreciate all responses.
