In the USA do you get points on your license? In the UK you have a maximum of 12 points (collective for all types of motoring offences). When / if you reach 12 points your license is revoked by the UK authorities.

There is a point system here too. Here is New Hampshire there still is no fine for an adult not wearing a seatbelt. There is if a child younger than 12 is found not wearing one.
Hi 6dogs4us, in the UK police are very strict for non seatbelt use. If a child (under 16s) is even a back seat passenger and unrestrained by seatbelts the ounus is on the driver. One child unrestrained is 3 points and a 60 pounds fine - 2 children = 60 pounds (for each child 60 pounds + 3 points on for EVERY child not belted up ). Children under the age of (if my memory serves me correct) under the age of 12 are not allowed as front seat passengers, resstraied or not. FYI; an illegal tyre is a fine of 60 pounds = 3 points - Speeding starts FROM 60 pounds + 3 points - Drink / drug driving (i think in the USA they call it DUI?) is an instant ban for a minimum of 12 months, with an open (heavy) fine.
