      not muck a hosipital can do either besides x-ray and confirm its broken often time a badly bruised rib can be just as painfull. most cases they carefully wrap you tightly with gauze and send you on your way!

          Broken several ribs through the years and nothing but time will make you feel better. Will take a few weeks before you feel well again.
