To lock/unlock screen rotation in your iphone 4 take the following steps: double click the home button then slide the bar to the right/left until you see a circular arrow icon. That's the screen rotation icon. If the rotation is locked the icon will be a circular arrow with a padlock, if the rotation is enabled the padlock will be gone. Click the icon to lock/unlock it.
