You haven't said how long the dog has had diarrhea. Sometimes it is something the dog shouldn't have eaten and as soon as it passed through the stomach and intestines things return to normal. If it lasts more than 3 days, time to go to the vet. The shot would make dead worms pass through the intestines but I'm not familiar with this shot enough to know if it would case diarrhea or not. Do not panic over the blood in the stool, that is from straining to relieve himself or a slight irritation of the intestines.

Did they do an xray? He might of eaten something that is stuck in his digestive system. He also might have an infection. Did they give you antibiotics?
