what to do with a baby Blue Jay ?

there's one in my back yard. I seems big enough to leave the nest, but is having trouble flying up on my garage roof and other places to escape danger.Should I catch it and try to raise it untill it becomes better able to fly ? I'm afraid a predator will get it. I've already rescued it from my cats

Yes and she will also try to lead it to safety. Keep you cats in for now.
best just to leave it alone, once you touch it the mom will reject it and harm any chance of her taking it back.. try and keep the cats away.. good luck
