I am sixteen years old and have been playing violent video games since i was 7, thats 9 years of violence. yet i am a happy, calm, and gentle person. so therefor, it can cause violent behavior, depending on the child. there are many other factors to consider. this is just my opinion and not a factual answer.

According to all the research, a child is much more likely to act out violently and develop behavior problems if subject to violent video games as compared to those kids who are not. I believe a responsible parent can influence this behavior by talking with their children and monitoring what games they are allowed to play and at what age.
