    Remember the old meal recipes

    Does anyone remember those meals like tripe in white sauce,lambs fry & bacon etc? We never see them anymore

      we still have ham hocks and beans, corn bread, greens, rhubarb pies and all them good things. mmmmm, i do love my greens little bit onion and hot pepper juice!

        Now your talking some serious eatin how about fried green tomaters, fried squash, green beans and onion bacon, cucumbers and ripe tomatoe with corn bread

        You can fry anything and my crew would eat it.. It is a southern thing. I love greens and all of that soul food.

          Don't know what you're missin'kiddo.LOL.
          Tried to find chitlins when I was in the US of A but couldn't find anywhere to serve them.
          Tried grits in New Orleans.(Yuck).
          Loved the way real hash browns are made & Tex/Mex UMMMM.

          I remember my Grandmother saying she liked tripe not me tried chittlins once and only once uuhh Love grits.
