      it is up to you.can you live on the pay?if so give it try and see how it works out....the job market as you know is not all that good right now...but it is just thr job title,remeber you can not pay bills with title........this is happening to a lot of people right now

        Thumbs up to franklin5 your bank manager is interested in you money not your title. If you can live on the possible lower income as f5 said give it a go.

        Work hard and show you were deserving of your current position and you will be recognised and rewarded accordingly.
