In Australia we have something called a 'caveat' a form of statutory injunction provided for under the Real Property act. When a Caveat is lodged, it effectively prevents the registration of any dealing (except for some statutory exceptions and any specifically permitted dealings).

You certainly are entitled to half the proceeds of the sale but why keave it to your ex husband to sell you can offer the property for sale and your ex gets half the proceeds. Be pro-active not reactive.
You can offer to buy his half if you can afford to do so at current market pricing.
In Australia we also have legal aid available free of charge to those short of money.

The divorce was granted in Texas and, so far I have let him take control of the whole situation, because of my children. He will not even discuss the house with me. I sent him an email yesterday, to see how I could help in moving the house, with no response. I spoke with an attorney last week, who said she couldn't help me. I will find a way to take some of my control back. Thank You!
I would be getting advise from another attorney, trouble is they charge like a wounded bull. Good luck wish there was more I could suggest.
