      they say it's more like a hum without a cause. .......kinda like Rebel without a cause. No , seriously , if you or someone you love have heard loud booms, it's probably our air force jets breaking the sound barrier. They did that a lot in MIchigan , in the 60s. It was near my aunt's house in N. Mich. It was so loud, it broke some of her porch windows, and other people windows, too. They were relatively near an air force base.
