Ok, so you know the check engine and the slipping is being caused by your transmission. It could be low on fluid and if it is, check for a leak. Trannys don't burn through fluid fast at all. Not like a car uses oil. Take it ton a garage is fluid is very low or you see a leak. Take it to a garage if nothing is wrong with the fluid because this means something is wearing out in your tranny,.
