I agree with the consensus here, we all have free will, but truth be known, we can't surprise God.

of course we all have freewill although he might have been predestined he still had a choice..

Betrayal was always a human weakness, even before Christ.
All of us have choices, some make bad ones, and some make good ones.
you bring up a good point, but yes I think Judas had a choice, maybe God just wanted to put him to the test.

God did not put him to the test.
Satan put him to the test.
Satan saw the fatal flaw in his character, money.

I THINK ONE OF THE DECIPILES WAS GOING TO BETRAY HIM IF NOT JUDAS ANOTHER.WHO IS TO SAY JUDAS WAS THE FIRST APPROACHED?
I think he had a choice, but he choose to betray someone that he was supposed to be close to,although Jesus was prepared because he knew Judas had a false love for him,it was all a facade,he turned his back on Jesus, this exists today, people just out to hurt others, especially if there is a pay off involved, that to me is just sad....the ultimate betrayal, when you cant trust those closest to you.
god can see ahead down the road. He could see that Judas was going to betray Christ, so it's a mute point.
Of course he did, b/c God gave us all free will. Judas didn't expect it to end up the way it did; and that's why he committed suicide. He was going to betray Christ, just for the money.
    It was a bribe.
Jesus knew He would betray Him all along, that's why He chose him, He had to die.
he served justice on himself and for all eternity does anyone know of a person named Judas today
Was He part of the plan
Judas did have free will what is interesting 30 pieces of silver is the price for a healthy male slave he was greedy he asked what will you pay me for you to take you him ? then all the illegal trials Judas said I have betrayed an innocent man then the high priest said whats that to us this is on your own head then he throw money at them and left and hanged him self
