      Draught is the UK English way of spelling draft.
      Imagine how difficult is must be for foreigners to get their heads around words like trough, rough, bough, slough, cough.
      I suggest it is time to clean up our linguistic act and start spelling werds as they ar pronounsed. Many users of this site do so already.

          Phonetic spelling is for morons to lazy to study the words. I put it in the same basket case as cu for see you. Pure laziness in my humble opinyun.

              Well there are two ways to spell it, isn't there? DRAFT IS A FIRST SKETCH OR SHORT FORM OF SOMETHING - WHEREAS DRAUGHT IS ALSO ANOTHER NAME FOR LAGER.
              ALSO IF IT IS COLD YOU WILL FEEL A DRAFT.
