'scuse please ... i forgot to add the word "method" at the end of my question.
It's just handwriting, not spelling and reading. My sons, who are now in their 20's, were taught D'Nealian printing when they entered kindergarten. I started using it, too, because I wanted to be a good example for them. My handwriting especially my printing, is often complimented.
