Dogs eat grass for two reasons, one because it is a natural laxative (if they don't throw it up and it actually goes through the stomach and intestines) and, two it is rough on the edges which causes the dog to want to throw it back up and get it out of the stomach along with whatever it is that is bothering the stomach besides the grass.
