Define what is an "interesting question". Isn't the answer subjective to the readers own biases? Take a good look at the majority of questions posted here each day, at least the religious ones have some "seriousness" to them.

It looks like you haven't been here very long by your karma score, are you already sick of them? Or are you just asking a question for the sake of the question???
I think they are interesting, and like Col, said there really hasn't been any debates in a long time. The trick is to not be offended by a discussion or the mentioning of uncomfortable things (for some.) I have to be honest the debates I've had with Colleen have changed my attitude towards certain things. I have expanded my knowledge by being on this site.

I've gotten used to the religious posts, I don't see the homosexual ones-- I totally despise the non-intellectual political hate threads.. if there is anything that has made me come close to leaving here its the hate rhetoric from both sides, but i see more hate threads for republicans.. Do you have friends and love ones who are rejecting Jesus as Lord over their lives? Doesn't it break your heart that if these friends and loved ones should suddenly be taken out by a car accident or something that they will be lost forever without God and without life?
This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ Schubee. If you say you believe in Jesus Christ then this is what you believe in for it is what Jesus taught. No, everybody who is generally a good person is not ok! No Jesus, No eternal life, No heaven. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Yes, and again, you are preaching. I understand your intention. But this is no place to preach, nobody will listen to you. Tell me one person who you have converted to christian here? I guess no one? Do your good to your neighbor, to people in real life. Why, because when you do that, they not only listen to you, but also they see who you are and can make a rational response. I don't want to get into my objection to your ways of doing it as I feel there is no need. Do the good with your actions, not with your mouth.
As I said before, it is BOTH. You live a Christlike life doing good and being kind but faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10). Unless you preach along with your good works Schubee, your friends and family cannot hear and will not have a chance to be believe and be saved.
