    does my membership follow me from my laptop to the desktop

    My laptop died while I was downloading from audible.com (audible books). Id like to download same selection to my desktop.

      You should be able. Most companies that offer downloads of books and music allow you to download the products to other computers, usually up to 5 different computers. You'll have to see your profile page to find out how the company you purchased from allows for this.
