answer comes from 15 yr diabetic, emergency aid retiree.
Under normal circumstance you shouldnt be different from 1 hand to the other. You can try this....
1. get a volunteer to test both of their hands.
assuming the results are the same (or very close) that rules out a problem with the meter fluctuating.
2. AFTER changing lancets, check your own to see if they are similar. If they are , you're good to go, if they are still different then see a health care professional to find out why (blood clot, hematoma, etc) and get instructed where on your person (which hand) you should consistantly draw from.
