LOl, But what happens if you don't practice it? only read about it?
Yes, and all sorcery, witchcraft, fortune telling etc.

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
    Deuteronomy 18:9-11

He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger.
    2 Chronicles 33:5-7

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
    Galatians 5:19-21

What the hell is the deal with you people sticking religion into every catagory on this site? Maybe, you could just put that bull shit into a bull shit catagory and leave it there. Oh, and please don't bother to insult me because I have no intention of reading it.

Sorry if this thread annoyed, but maybe you shouldn't read what you don't like? no need to leave stupid remarks, thank you , you can go somewhere else to rant your hate on religion? i have no intention of insulting you :) but as a person who believes i'd like to know more about my religion? thanks for your thought though :)
Black magic is used for evil purposes by inovking the power of the devil. God's son Jesus was snt here to 'deliver us from evil' and the devil, or satan, who is customarily thought to be the embodiment of evil. According to the bible, he infuses his way into people's thoughts, decisions, & responses to situations. He is at the core of addiction, immoral sex, destruction of family, etc. He is the antithesis of God and Christ. Many Christians believe themselves to be engaged in something termed "spiritual warfare" (kind of an oxymoron huh?) which denotes activities believed to be directly challenging evil supernatural entities under satanic influence. Since the practice of black magic is diametrically opposed to the tenets and beliefs of Christianity, my answer to the question 'Does Chritianity forbid the practice of black magic' is yes.
