    Location usually. Magistrate is used often in the United Kingdom. Judge in N. America
    about 10,000 miles
    In Australia Magistrates hear certain cases but a Judge has greater power and can have a jury trial. Cases may be referred to a Judges court by a Magistrate.
    Do they have the same power? The same rolls as a Judge?
