well if you were going 40 mphs and hit a car you would probably die your body is moving 40mphs with the motorcycle and when you hit a car you instantly stop and you have no seatbelts airbags or any safety devices on a motorcycle but the clothes on your back if a car pulls out in front of you the injuries you should worry about would be your head torso arms your legs if anything should be fine unless you hit the car fly over it and land on your legs you can break them thats all i know :D
