    I have oversalted a meat dish any suggestions?

    How can I reduce the salt flavour

    If it is one that you can put potatoes in I think that cuts the salt a bit...they absorb it.
    Add more of the other ingredients in the dish, if there is only meat rinse it off in the sink and recook it some. Good answer monkey, potatoes always need salt...
    I've tried the potatoes and it works. I also added some more liquid.
    Monkey & Leeroy get a thumbs up. Potatoes do the trick and so does rinsing unless it's really cooked into the meat. FYI - salting prior to cooking makes the meat tough.
