There is still MILLIONS of $2 bills that were taken out of circulation voluntarily by millions of Americans soon after the currency denomination was introduced. Most thought it was a great way to save while removing an unpopular new bill from their wallets.
Trouble is, EVERYONE did it. Now there are just TOO MANY of them out there. STILL ONLY WORTH TWO DOLLARS
