    dispute for 6 month old purchase

    I purchased several items from Gap on 11/30/10. One of the items is defective. Gap Customer Service has given me conflicting information about their responsibility for replacing or crediting this purchase. I want to dispute the charge.

    What's eligible for return? You can return or exchange any item that's in its original condition (unwashed and unworn) or defective, unless it was purchased for final sale, with the exception of Athleta styles which can be returned or exchanged at any time with no questions asked.

    perhaps you can bypas the gaps management and go directly to your bank if you used a debit/credit card
    Then I think you should dispute the charge
