This is an extremely fast paced job, you must learn the keyboarding of abbreviations for words (almost like shorthand) and be extremely accurate. Courts are the only places that really use them now, but occasionally lawyers will need one for a deposition. I should think there just are just a limited amount of jobs out there for this type of work. Investigate with a local court and find out.
