Thundersnow, also known as a winter thunderstorm or a thunder snowstorm, is a relatively rare kind of thunderstorm with snow falling as the primary precipitation instead of rain. It typically falls in regions of strong upward motion within the cold sector of an extratropical cyclone, where the precipitation consists of ice pellets rather than snow. Thermodynamically, it is not different from any other type of thunderstorms but the top of the cumulonimbus are usually quite low.

Yes, I have, and it completely caught me off guard. About twenty five years ago, it occured right behind a motel room I was staying in for awhile one winter in Maine. It sounded so close and loud that I could actually feel it. Until then I didn't know there could be thunder during a snowstorm, and I half expected to see pieces of the building to come flying through the air, as I had initially thought part of the building had blown up.

Yes, 2 times this past winter and 1 time the previous winter. I also saw lightening in one of the thundersnows, this past winter.

Yes I have heard thunder during a snow storm's 2 or 3 times even saw lighting flash's weather is very strange and beautiful and then in a eye blink becomes a complete nightmare!
