    own imac computer can't get printer to work. ran disc but nothing works

    printer engages as if to print but get signal that i am out of paper, but i checked have paper inprinter

      Must be the printer. Was it a free printer that came with the computer? Sounds like the sensor in the printer that tells it when paper is out is not working. Try hand feeding a sheet at a time and see if it will print. Get a new printer.
