    how do you run two hard drives together in the same tower

    Primary master-- Slave unit

    Depends on your interface, you will need to change the jumper on second drive (slave) to the slave position, usually there is a diagram on the drive itself showing placement of jumpers.

    Just like vinny said one master one slave. Then you can even install different operating systems if you want I just installed windowx 7 on my slave and now I can jump from xp to windows 7 anytime I want. Its nice especially with the size of hard drives today. I have all my pictures on the windows 7 drive so they don't take up all the space on my master drive
