First you measure and pin your hem to the proper length. Next you push the needle and thread about 1/2 way through the fabric starting from the inside and push it back through to the inside again without letting the thread show on the outside. That is why it is called a blind hem. You don't want the thread to show on the outside. Don't make the hem larger than 1 inch. Iron from the inside when done.
Or you can take them to the cleaners and they'll do it for $10 - $15 bucks. :)
