We all make mistakes but you now have the opportunity to change your life for the better. Be strong. There is no real life in prison, only a slow death of body and spirit.

        Not always (about the slow death bit). I've watched a lot of documentaries about prison life and some convicts say they would not want to leave. They adjust to the life and feel safer than they ever did outside of prison. Some got released, committed a crime right away just so they could go back in.

        That's why I called it a slow death. What kind of life is it to be caged like an animal? The fact that they become acclimated to it, to me, represents a type of spiritual death. Of coarse their living situation outside of prison may be bad, in which case they should try extract themselves from that environment, but prison is surely not the answer.

        The same way you transitioned from the community to the prison. This time, follow the rules of the community like you had to follow the rules of the prison.
